Red Rock Lake was featured in the March/April 2011 Iowan magazine. The article, entitled “Changing Course: Voyage to the future of Lake Red Rock”, does a phenomenal job portraying the lake and the optimism for the future of the area.

The Army Corps of Engineers along with the Red Rock lake association are seeking input regarding the Lake Red Rock master plan for the next 25-50 years. The first master plan was drawn up in 1976 and included improving the water quality and enhancing the Canadian goose population in the area. We are now seeking input from the community.
